Salzburg, Bangor Township, is a small place situated just opposite Postsmouth, or about one mile south of Wenona. There are several fine saw mills, salt blocks shingle manufactory, bakery, flouring mill, two taverns, and several small shops, stores, & c. The mills, salt blocks and shingle business seem to be the principal strength and life of the place, I should call it Hope’s Harbor.____Ed.
