High School Scholars Who
Complete Their Studies.

The commencement
exercises of the senior class of the high school will occur at the opera
house on Thursday evening, June 26. This year's class is the largest
that has ever graduated from the high school; numbering thirty-three
scholars, and being divided among five courses as follows: Classical,
Latin, scientific, English and commercial. The first four require
four years for completion, while the commercial is a two years' course.
The names of the class and the course of study pursued are as follows:
Classical - Stanton Newton. Latin - Belle Ballou, Jessie Dunbar,
Tina Johnson, Annie McDonald, Hetty Taylor, Fannie Cooke. Scientific
- Grace Brammel, Louis Gardner. English - Maud Crosbie, Minnie
Brown, George Lewis, Orva Morden, Herbert Mengel, Glenn Meeker, Abbie
Nason, Minnie Potter, Florence Pusey, Estella Price, Achsah Hiller, Mary
Robinson, Lizzie Sprague, Maud Tombley, Emma Wald, Lloyd Wentworth, Minnie
Gardner, Lena Bradley, Frank McCabe. Commercial - Maud Trombley, Sam
Hyman, Sam Grabowsky, John Hatch, Ida Lewis, Lela Zach.
The exercises will consist of essays, recitations and orations,
interspersed with music. Lloyd Wentworth is president of the class
and Frank McCabe holds the office of class secretary.
