The village of Wenona is located on the west bank of the Saginaw River, second in size; as enterprising in spirit and growing as rapidly, and, with just as many natural advantages as Bay City.

FIRE DEPARTMENT

C. J. Rouech, Foreman Hose, 1st Ass’t Geo Hannon, 2d Ass’t Wm. Green. Henry H Alpin, Sec’y; Wm. Swart, Treas; Lafayette Roundsville, Eng’r; A. Lawrence Fireman. A new engine was received in Sept., cost $4,500, out of $6,500 raised for the Department.
CHURCHES
The Methodist Episcopal Church is located on the west side of Center, between Moore and Elizabeth streets. Rev. W. Q Burnett, Pastor.
The Presbyterian Church is located on the west side of Catherine, between John and Jane streets, Rev. S. W. Chapman, Pastor.
SCHOOL
The Union School Building is located upon one square between John and Jane streets, and State and Center Street.
SECRET SOCIETY
